Sustainable Energy Finance made
Simple.
Sustainable, renewable, or energy efficiency finance doesn’t have to be stale or scary.
SEF approaches it in a clear and straightforward way, with genuine care for the outcomes you’ve identified for your business.
7 Simple Steps to
Sustainable Energy Finance
Fact Finding
The first step involves a fact-finding exercise. The SEF broker appointed to your account will meet with you to discuss your business’s specific sustainable energy finance needs. We’re happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if it will help you feel more comfortable talking about your business or energy project.
Structure
Your dedicated SEF broker will collect financial information and project specifics from you. We use these to structure a credit proposal that can be shared with funders.
Sourcing
Your broker will approach at least three lenders and determines options of the types of products SEF can source for you through those lenders.
Assesment
The lender assesses the credit application and reverts with the relevant terms.
Feedback
Your broker provides you with detailed feedback, so you understand your options. They’ll then help you to make the right decisions on terms or rates.
Application Process
SEF liaises with you and the funder to get all the relevant supporting documentation in place and take you through the application process.
Finance Secured
Your business’s financing is secured, and you can move ahead with your sustainable energy solution!
The SEF process delivers simple, bespoke, no mess, no fuss energy financing.
No Fees, No Exclusivity
We don’t charge a fee to our clients. Instead, we are renumerated by way of an introductory payment payable by the lender if you decide to enter into a finance agreement with them.
Essentially, if we don’t deliver your finance, we don’t get paid.
Also, we never lock clients into an exclusivity period. We only take on projects we’re confident we can secure finance for. If we feel we can’t do that for your business, we’ll try to refer you on to someone in our extensive sustainable energy network who might be able to help.
